Kristy earned her bachelor’s degrees in English (creative writing) and journalism (magazine) from the University of Kansas. As a former trade magazine editor, Kristy has worked in publishing and marketing communications since 1991, specializing in healthcare. She has been an independent writer, editor and creative marketing professional since 2000. A former IVF patient and infertility treatment advocate who overcame steep odds to become a mother, Kristy has an exceptional level of understanding and compassion related to fertility treatment and the women and men who need it.

Kristy lives in New Braunfels, Texas, with her husband and two young boys. Her family loves to take to the open road seeking adventure, hauling their vintage Airstream behind them.
