Susan Eckert - Copywriter - Writer - Catalyst Healthcare Marketing

Susan earned her degrees in advertising and journalism/public relations from The University of Texas at Austin. She has more than 20 years of experience working with national, regional and local clients through marketing agencies. Thanks to her experience with healthcare copywriting, and copyediting, Susan is an asset to the Catalyst team.

Her experience producing publications for a medical foundation and a children’s hospital brings insight to her writing for Catalyst clients. Susan has also managed media relations for a major metropolitan zoo and an international pest control company for over a decade

Today, Susan lives in an old house near Downtown Dallas with her husband, son and a tabby named Tex. When not writing compelling copy or counseling clients, she can be found planning home renovations, Googling sites for her next vacation, practicing her culinary skills and organizing activities for her son.
